She describes herself as honest rather than mean, as seen when she said "I just try to be really, really honest with people when I think that they suck!

I faked illness a lot that year to stay home from school, a place where I was bullied and had no real friends. Santana Lopez, my favorite character on Glee , happened to be going through a similar struggle with her sexuality, in love with her best friend Brittany Heather Morris and having no idea how to navigate those feelings. Or maybe that was just me. When Rivera passed, social media was flooded with tributes not just from family members and co-stars but from millions of fans worldwide who collectively agreed that Santana Lopez was a beacon of light during hard times.

She did such a good job of showing the fear that you're going to let down the people you love. I cry every time I watch that scene, because I know how hard it is. I cried when I watched it, even before I knew I was bisexual. Naya's acting in that scene was so vulnerable and raw.

Glee was about kids in Lima, Ohio who were in a show tunes choir. Then it was about other things, like making it big on Broadway. And then it was over. To be honest, I watched the show for Kurt Hummell, because his actor is an amazing singer and I adore him.
